Zachary C. Elliott

Zachary C. "Zach" Elliott, age 33 of Prescott, Wisconsin, formerly of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, fought a difficult and courageous 5 year battle with brain cancer. On the evening of November 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, he won the final fight and went on to be with his King Jesus in Paradise.

Zach was born on October 10, 1990 in Mission Viejo, California to Suzanne and Jeffrey Elliott. He was a 2009 graduate of Park High School, and was tremendously proud to join the US Marine Corp directly after graduation. Zach married the love of his life, Alicia Egan in 2014, and were blessed with two sons, Easton James (8) and Breven Michael (6). They raised their boys together in their hometown, Cottage Grove, until early 2022 when they moved to Prescott, Wisconsin to settle in. Zach was an avid hunter and fisherman with a great love and zeal for the outdoors. He spent most of his time on their hobby farm tinkering with engines and his boat, or driving his boys around on the 3 wheelers. Anybody who met Zach deeply enjoyed his presence, and he will be missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father in law Mark Egan; and cousin Angie Scott.

Zach is survived by his loving wife, Alicia Egan; two sons, Easton and Breven; parents Jeff and Suzanne; sister Latosha (Jon) Vavak, brother Jacob; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Church of St. Agnes in St. Paul, with Rev. Father Mark Moriarty officiating. Interment will be held at Cottage Grove Cemetery in Old Cottage Grove, Minnesota.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, and for one hour prior to Mass at church on Tuesday morning.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Alicia Egan and their two sons, whom Zach deeply loved.
