William P. Hodorff

William Paul Hodorff, age 91, passed away February 15, 2023. He was born October 24, 1931 in Buckman, Mn to William and Gertrude Hodorff. It was in Royalton that he met wife, Carol Langer and together they raised three children, Mike, Dan and Sue and celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Bill worked as a machinist/foreman for the Milwaukee Railroad for 28 years then as a locomotive specialist for General Electric retiring after 14 years.

He loved summers with Carol up in Perham at Big Pine Lake doing what he liked best…fishing.

Bill is survived by his wife Carol, his children Mike(Norma) Hodorff,

Dan(Audrey)Hodorff and Sue (Joe)Jacoby; his grandchildren Jillian Hodorff, Jake(Alesha)Hodorff, Jack(Brittany)Hodorff, Nic(Kelly)Jacoby, Max(Andrea)Jacoby, Libby(Lucas)Long; his great grandchildren Kensi, Aubrie, Everlie, Charlie, Cameron and Sophie.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Gertrude Hodorff; brother John Hodorff; and sisters Eleanor, Julia, and infant sister.

We love you and will cherish all the wonderful memories you gave us.

Memorials are preferred to Grace Hospice.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held on March 11, 2023 from 10-12 p.m. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings, MN. Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
