Timothy "Tim" Mchugh

Timothy J. "Tim" McHugh, age 82 of St. Louis Park, MN, Cleveland, MN, and recently of Hastings, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, December 15, 2023, at Cannon Rivers Senior Living.

Timothy J., the son of Kenneth and Dolores McHugh was born on July 28, 1941, in Minneapolis. Following his graduation from Minnetonka High School, Tim briefly continued his education before beginning his life-long career at Honeywell where he often traveled fixing software problems when computers first came out. On December 19, 1964, Tim was united in marriage to Diane Ilstrup in St. Louis Park, where they raised their two sons, Monty and Shaun. They also enjoyed traveling in their motorhome over the years. Diane recently preceded him in death on December 10, 2022. Tim loved to hunt and fish, and could also be found putzing on just about anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Monty McHugh; sister, Sheila; and by his wife, Diane.

Tim is survived by his son, Shaun McHugh; grandchildren, Madison McHugh and Hunter McHugh; their mother, Cindy (Mike) Jeewek; brother, Mike (Dani) McHugh; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Tim's Life will be held at a later date.
