Thomas M. Bradsher, age 66, of Prescott, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born on August 5, 1957, to Norman and Jewel (Hardison) Bradsher on a military base in Chambley, France. Tom grew up in Phoenix, AZ, graduated from high school there, and went on to enlist in the Army, where he was stationed at Fort Bragg (82nd Airborne) in North Carolina. After his military service, he returned to Phoenix where he married and had two daughters, Katie and Kimberly.
Tom eventually moved to Lakeville, MN, where he worked in sales for Garratt-Callahan until 2016 before joining International Chemtex Corporation as a technical support specialist in water treatment chemicals. In 2018, he met Lori McNamara-Kariesch, and they were engaged to be married. They shared a love for motorcycling, traveling, and simply being together. Tom had a passion for woodworking, hunting, restoring antique radios, cooking out, and was known as a capable handyman always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
A family man at heart, Tom cherished his daughters and adored his grandchildren, whom he enjoyed playing games with, especially Charades. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steven Bradsher. Thomas is survived by his fiancée, Lori McNamara-Kariesch; daughters, Katie Mayes and Kimberly Bradsher; brother, Paul (Samantha Kimmel) Bradsher; Lori's children, Ryan (Erica) Kariesch, Mikayla (Michael) Durham, Johnny (Maren) Kariesch; grandchildren: Connor, Quinn, and Lennon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings, MN. A time to gather will follow until 7:00 PM after the service. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Thomas will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family and friends.
