Scott T. Myers

Scott T. Myers, age 61, of Hastings, died suddenly at Regions Hospital in St. Paul on Wednesday evening, January 18, 2023.

Scott was born on August 10,1961 to Thomas and Darlene (Grotenhuis) Myers. Scott met the love of his life, Sandra, in River Falls, WI in 1985 and got married in 1987, settling in Hastings. He worked in the Hastings area in sales for most of his working career. Scott was an avid Vikings fan his entire life. In his free time he enjoyed keeping active, spending time at their family cabin, traveling when he could, and going to his children's and family's events. He found joy in taking many photos on family vacations together. Scott deeply loved his family and friends and cherished every minute he was able to spend with them.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Myers; sister, Julie Biermaier; maternal grandparents, Anna and George Grotenhuis; and paternal grandparents, Hadley and Esther Myers.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; children, Alex, Alaina, and Megan Myers; mother, Darlene Myers; sister, Jodi (Steve) Nielsen; brother, Jeff (Emily) Myers; many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunt's and uncles as well as many close and dear friends.

A visitation will be at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel from 4:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. A memorial service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at 11:00 A.M on January 26, 2023 with a visitation being held one hour prior and a reception following the service.
