Robert “Bob” Vincent Shoberg

Age 99 of Mpls. born Nov. 3, 1924 in Mpls. to Ruth and Gust Shoberg, passed away on Sept. 9, 2024 (two months short of his 100th birthday). Bob proudly served his country as an ARM2 in the NAVY. He had a deep faith and was dedicated in serving as an usher at Hope Lutheran Church. Bob also served as a ski patrol at Birch Park Ski Area for many years. And in retirement he treasured his good friends made at the Hiawatha Golf Course as well as his many lifelong friends from beloved 19th Ave. Preceded in death by loving wife, Marion Shoberg, Grandson, Sgt. Phillip Anderson, Sister Shirley Wright and Brother Bill Shoberg. Bob will be dearly missed by his daughters, Deborah Anderson and Darcy Geroy; Grandchildren, Heidi (Scott) Thompson and Gary (Beth) Sandstrom; six great-grandchildren; and countless nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Celebration of Life 2:00-4:00 pm, with prayers and memories read/shared at 3:00 pm, Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, at Hiawatha Golf Course Clubhouse, 4553 Longfellow Ave. So., Mpls.
