Robert L. “Bob” Larson

died peacefully on Jan. 19, 2025 in Anoka, MN at the age of 99.  He will be best remembered as being among the last of the “Greatest Generation.”  As the son of proud Swedish immigrants, he was a shining example of one whose strong work ethic, modest demeanor, and self-discipline were shaped by the Great Depression and World War II.  He was a true patriot who served proudly in both the US Army and Navy in WW II and the Korean War.  Bob went on to enjoy a successful 34-year career at Otis Elevator.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Inez Larson; son,  Steven Larson and daughter, Julie Hinseth.  Bob was blessed to have found happiness later in life with wife,  Arlene Larson, who passed away in 2014.  Bob is survived by 7 children; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  Private Ceremony will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
