Robert "Bob" T. Milbrandt

August 31, 1960 — February 9, 2024

Robert (Bob) Milbrandt, aged 63, peacefully left this world, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis on February 9, 2024. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Bob was born on August 31, 1960, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Clinton Milbrandt Jr. and Sandy (Olson) Milbrandt. He is survived by his beloved wife, Renee Milbrandt; his sons, Matthew (Krista) Milbrandt and Aaron (Stephanie) Milbrandt; his daughter, Allisha (Chase) Rupprecht; his stepchildren, Jaason, Haans, and Heidi Bierschenk, Taylor (Landon) Cooke, and Matt Krumm; step-father, Al Hildenbrand; sisters, Deb Breskamp, and Kim Hildenbrand; brother, Dennis Hildenbrand, and numerous cherished grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Lisa Harwell, Denise Janshen, and Clin Milbrandt.

Bob was a proud 40 year member if the IBEW 110. His career took him all over he made a lasting impression among many of his peers. He worked with Collins electric and retired with the city of St. Paul. Bob was so active that after retirement he worked for Anderson Windows for a few more years before finally retiring. Bob was also an avid angler. Nicknamed “the walleye whisperer” by many of his peers. Bob also considered himself a “fantasy football extraordinaire”. Bob was also a Harley enthusiast. He loved going on rides and bike runs with the love of his life Renee. Bob and Renee did everything together and found the true love they both searched their whole lives for in each other. Bob was a great father and there for any of his kids needs at anytime. He enjoyed helping with house projects and just being around his kids in general. Bob had many grandchildren, he loved going to all their sporting events, birthday parties, and just showing up at random times to see them. Bob had a smile and a joke for everyone.

Bob leaves behind footprints that are impossible to fill, but we can all follow in his footsteps by carrying on his infectious personality, love, and kindness he showed everyone. His absence will be profound and leave a gaping hole in our hearts. Honor Bob and carry on his memory by hugging your loved ones often with the best signature Bob hug you can give. And remember “it's not goodbye, it's I'll seeya later”

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held from 3:00–6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, with a time of sharing at 5:00 p.m.
