Rita Mae Elliott

Rita Mae Elliott, 87, of Hastings, MN, passed away on March 7, 2023 with family by her side at Regina Senior Living.

She was born May 27, 1935 to Mathias and Anna (Kramlinger) Weber, grew up in the Campbell, MN, area.

Rita went to Campbell High School, and she graduated from nursing school in Breckenridge, MN.

On November 10, 1956 she married Harold Elliott and together raised their 4 children. Rita was a Registered Nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital and Southdale Fairview in Minneapolis, MN.

She enjoyed cruises with her husband, camping trips with her family and time with her grandchildren.

Her gentle heart and sharp wit will be missed dearly.

Rita is survived by her children and daughter-in-law,, Mark (Cindy) Elliott, Char (Brian) Brown, Mitch (Shelly) Elliott, Sheila Elliott Mitchell; grandchildren, Tom (Kristen) Elliott, Melanie Elliott, Kelly Brown, Becky Brown, Jake Brown, Brooke (Justin) Cochran, Claire (Nate) Murray, Ashley (Brenton) Hayden, Chelsea (Riley) Hoffman and Hailey (Ben) Wenande; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Liam, Addison and Audrey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Harold; son, Mike Elliott and siblings, Mary (Hank) Hagen, Larry (Alice) Weber and Lillian Dahlen.

Memorial service will be 3:00 pm May 5th, 2023 at Starkson Celebration of Life Chapel in Hastings, with visitation 2 hours prior. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
