Age 89 of Minneapolis, passed away on June 20, 2024. Preceded in death by his wife, Krista. Survived by his children, Lisa (Bob) Bernabucci and Scott (Annmarie) Johnson; grandchildren, Taylor, Evan, and Sydney; sister, Clarice Johnson; former wife, Carol Johnson; 6 step-children; many step-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Dick had a long career at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was the longest serving president of CWA local 7200 and completed his career as president of Minneapolis Central Labor Union. The funeral will take place at 11am on Mon., July 1, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls, 5212 41^st Ave. S., Minneapolis, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of the donor’s choice.
