Richard W. Anderson, age 75 of Bloomington and formerly of Castle Rock, died peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
Richard W., the son of Peter and Hilda (Pederson) Anderson, was born on March 11, 1949, in Hastings. Richard was a longtime custodian at Carquest, and enjoyed bowling, knitting, and talking to family and friends on the phone.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his siblings, Virgil, Arlen, and Leonard.
He is survived by his siblings, Allen (Theresa) Anderson, Susan (Marvin) McDonald, Peter Anderson, and Marie Nelson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private family funeral service will be held at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, with Father Michael Tix officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
