Rebecka C. Vogel

Rebecka C. Vogel, age 81, of New Trier, died peacefully at home on Saturday evening, November 25, 2023.

Rebecka Caroline, the daughter of William and Yolanda (Kenyon) Kubitz was born December 29, 1941 in Fergus Falls, MN. On April 20, 1963 she was united in marriage to Joseph Vogel in Barnesville, MN. Rebecka had a love for horses working at horse stables cleaning and helping out wherever she could. She enjoyed music, whether that was listening to Christmas music or listening to her old records and singing along. Rebecka also enjoyed sewing, canning vegetables from her garden, making her homemade bread and jam, and cooking her own homemade recipes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; granddaughter, Rachel; great granddaughter, Crystal; and siblings, William Jr., Gerald, Ernest, and Glendora.

Rebecka is survived by her children, Anna (Daniel) Heath, Brenda (Stan) VanHemert, Troy (Renee) Vogel, Twila Vogel, Felicia Raway and Korean (Bob) Geiken; grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Nathan, Jon, Krissy, Gina, Luke, Adam, Bryan, Skyler, Ashley, Colyn, Nick, Kendra, Mikayla, Tessa, and Robby; 16 great grandchildren; and siblings, Donald, Gertrude, Loris, Luella, and Marlin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M at Crossroads Church in Hastings, MN with a visitation starting at 9:00 A.M. and a reception following the service. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 11:30 A.M.
