Rebecca "Becky" (Samuelson) Gronvold

Rebecca "Becky" (Samuelson) Gronvold passed away of natural causes at her home on June 15, 2023.

Becky was born on February 12, 1948 to Day and Gertrude Samuelson and lived her entire life in Hastings. She was married to Charles "Chuck" Gronvold on June 24, 1994. Becky was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and was very grateful for the friends she made there and the kindness that was extended to her. Becky loved to play the organ and the piano and would play hymns and Christmas music all year round from memory.

Becky is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gronvold, parents; Day and Gertrude Samuelson; infant twin brother, Robert; sister, Barbara Samuelson; brothers, John "Jack" Samuelson, Day E. "Ed" Samuelson; sister-in-law, Beverly Samuelson.

Becky is survived by sister, Judy Gilbert of Hudson; niece, Kim Gilbert of Hudson; nephews, Brian (Holly) Gilbert of Deland, FL, Mark Samuelson of Hastings and Tim Samuelson of Hastings.

A memorial service for Becky will be held Friday, June 23 at 1:00 PM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
