Randall Wayne Freiermuth, beloved father and friend, passed away after a battle with cancer on Saturday, June 9th, 2024 at the age of 70. He was a man of great faith, known for his thoughtfulness, generosity, and devotion to his family and community.
Born to Alberta (Eastlund) Freiermuth and Nicholas Freiermuth, Randall grew up with a love for the outdoors, spending much of his time camping and fishing. He also had a passion for do-it-yourself projects and loved to spend his time fixing up the house and painting.
He was a devoted father to his two sons Jack and Sam, instilling a love of nature and the outdoors in them by embarking on a special annual family camping trip to the North Shore.
His strong Christian faith guided him throughout his life, and he was an active member of his church community. His legacy of love, hard work, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. In his time as a chemical addiction counselor, he also helped people get and stay sober.
Randall was preceded in death by his son Sam, brother Gary, and his parents, Alberta and Nicholas Freiermuth. He is survived by his sister-in-law Debbie, his ex-wife Sue, and his son Jack, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will remember him fondly.
Special thanks to Bruce, Melanie, Dawn, Debbie, Jannet, and Sue for their unwavering support in driving Randall to the hospital, guiding him through the process of fighting cancer, waiting with him during his chemo and appointments, staying at the house to take care of him, submitting documents, and keeping the house clean.
