Pamela Renee Halvorson

Pamela Renee Halvorson, of Apple Valley, passed away in the M Fairview Health Southdale Hospital on Tuesday, October 22nd of 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born on October 18th of 1957 in Madelia, Minnesota to Donald and Francis Thorn. After graduating from high school she attended St. Cloud State University and Mankato State University.

On April 28, 1979 she married her one true love, Jody Halvorson, and they welcomed their daughter Jen, on March 8th of 1985.

She and Jody lived in the Burnsville and Apple Valley area throughout their life together. They loved spending time with family and friends. Jody and Pam did everything together including projects big and small.

Pam was an entertainer at heart, she enjoyed hosting loved ones and making the holidays extra special. October and Halloween were her favorite time of the year.

She was born to be a mother and grandmother and her time spent with her daughter and her two grandchildren Audriana and Brysyn created memories that will be everlasting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Francis Thorn and her Brother-in-law Dale Rouse.

Pam will be dearly missed by her husband of 45 years, Jody Halvorson, her daughter Jen Heilman (Adam), grandchildren Audriana (4) and Brysyn (1), her siblings Kay, Zandra, and Roger, and many other beloved family members and friends.

The funeral service will take place at 11:30 am, on Tuesday, October 29th with a visitation beginning at 10am at Grace Lutheran Church, 7800 W. Co Rd, 42 in Apple Valley. Her burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley following the service. A luncheon will take place at The Tavern Grill in Apple Valley beginning at 12:30. Pam’s service will be live-streamed on the church youtube channel.
