Palmer, Myrna Jean

Age 82, passed away on January 12, 2024, unexpectedly after recovering from a broken femur. She was born on August 2, 1941, in Minneapolis, MN, to Milo and Ellen Randall. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. She was a long-time resident of Burnsville, MN, where she raised her children. Myrna is preceded in death by her parents, sister Sharon Martinson and son David. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Palmer; son, Michael (Naomi); daughter, Jennifer Schwartzbauer (Mike); grandchildren, John, Emily, Kate, Preston, Payton, Carolyn, Allie and Jason; sister, Pattie (Bryan) Talbot; and sister in-law, Kathy (Glen) Peterson. Myrna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports and was an enthusiastic fan. Myrna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, being at the cabin, playing Yahtzee, cards and other games. She will be missed by many. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 12-3 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary in Apple Valley, MN.
