Michael "Mike" P. Olson, 82, of Hastings and formerly of Cannon Falls, passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2023.
He was born in Owatonna, Minnesota on July 26, 1940 to Clarence and Anne (Stalicky) Olson and graduated from Owatonna High School.
Mike enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and honorably served his country. He also attended the University of Minnesota and received a degree in Psychology.
He loved his farm life in Cannon Falls and enjoyed cooking and catering for numerous events in his lifetime.
Mike is survived by the Miller and Regan families of Hastings; his niece, nephew and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with Military Honors.
