Marybelle L. Lindberg

Marybelle passed away peacefully at Augustana Care Center February 22, 2023 at the age of 102. Her family was at her side along with her longtime confidante Pastor Gordon.

Marybelle was a loving, caring person with a strong sense of family. She delighted in the company of her son Dennis, his wife Jeanne, and her many grandchildren to come.

She enjoyed many good years with her husband, Burnett, until his passing in 1988.

Marybelle, with a strong and determined spirit, along with family support, and a strong belief in God, got her through the many challenges of life.

She was always very thankful for the care and consideration she received from the staff at Park Ridge and from her short stay at Augustana Care Center.

Marybelle is preceded in death by her husband, Burnett; her daughter, Gail; her son, Wayne; parents, Florence and Fred Haverland; and siblings, Robert Peterson, Laverne Haverland, Ione Pelach, James Haverland, and Elizabeth Schnell.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Jeanne) Lindberg; grandchildren, Joseph (Sheri) Lindberg, Kim (Richard) O'Brien, Laurie (David) Kieffer, Jason (Mary) Sufka, and Jon Hines; great-grandchildren, Ashley (Devin), Angela (Michael), Kyle, Erica, Brennen, and Lydia; great-great-grandchildren, Carter, Taylor, Rylann, Braelynn, Kinsley, Ashton, Ayden, Riley, Ayden, Austin, and Lawrence; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Marybelle's life will be held Saturday, March 11 at 3:30 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel with a visitation one hour prior. A reception will follow the service. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
