Mary Ann Dalbey
Went to her heavenly home on September 9, 2022 and is now with her Lord and Savior. She was born on August 25, 1925 to Louis and Ella Mae Jaycox in Minneapolis. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; brothers, Richard and Paul and son, Doug. She is survived by her daughters: Sherrie (Bill) Blatzheim, Pat (Len) Anderson and Nan (Mike) Blanchard; sons, Jim (Sonja) and Dave (Rhonda); daughter-in-law, Diane; and her dear grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary Ann brought sunshine into the world. The light of that sunshine came from knowing Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Mary Ann brought the fruits of the spirit to countless numbers of people throughout her life with love, joy, peace, faithfulness and gentleness. Throughout her life her family, friends and church constantly felt these gifts. Thousands of others felt them simply by being in the presence of that beautiful, loving smile, kind words and sincere love of all people. She has truly been a gift to the world, which is a better place because of her.
She loved sketching portraits, writing poetry, reading, and planning and organizing events for her church, Bethesda and Longfellow Healthy Seniors.
