Mark G. Dembroski

Mark Dembroski, age 64, of Hastings, MN passed away on April 18, 2023 after a short and hard fought battle with cancer.

He was adopted by his parents Francis and Dolores (Denzer) Dembroski shortly after his birth on January 14, 1959. He grew up in Eagan, MN with his sister, Mary Sue (Dembroski) Dale and attended Brady High School.

Mark had many so many adventures during his life. He would tell stories about hitchhiking when he was in his 20’s throughout the U.S., and even living in California for a while. He loved the outdoors, riding his motorcycle and feeling the wind in his hair. Mark loved sports and would often use them as an analogy for life. He especially loved to play baseball and was thrilled when his son, Austin, played from a young boy through college and now with the Miesville Mudhens.

Mark’s biggest accomplishment in life were his kids. He was overjoyed when he learned he was having a son in 1995, and then got another amazing gift of a daughter in 2005. Mark’s favorite thing in this world was watching his son Austin and daughter Emily excel in sports, whether it was baseball or softball, Mark loved seeing them play. You could not miss seeing Mark at the games recording each at bat for Austin & Emily. He was a devoted father who would let the world know about how proud he was.

Mark is known to so many as the ultimate car guy from his time in the dealerships and from working with Credit Acceptance and most recently Westlake Financial. Mark would say he never wanted to be the representative that came in and handed out candy. He wanted to help you with every aspect of the deal and teach you how to be better, not just do it for you.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Dolores (Denzer) Dembroski.

Mark is survived by his wife, Anya Dembroski (Schmidt); his children, Austin LaDoux and Emily Dembroski; sister, Mary Sue (Dembroski) Dale; brother-in-law, Brian Dale; sister-in-law, Lisa (Schmidt) Carlson; brother-in-law, Brent Carlson; parents-in-law, Terry and Diane (Supinski) Schmidt; and many other friends and relatives.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel with a small private service to be held after for family at noon.
