Marian M. (Rathman) Frandrup, age 96, passed away peacefully at home with her children on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Marian was born on May 16, 1926 to Edward and Amelia Rathman. Marian was a social lady and is truly loved by everyone she met. She taught in Vermillion for two years where she met her husband, Arthur. They later married on June 25,1947. Marian always said she felt lucky to marry into such a loving and welcoming family. She loved the time the family spent together at the lake each summer and the holiday gatherings. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and watching her grandkids have fun. She insisted on hosting Christmas and Easter and carried on the Frandrup tradition of annual egg hunts and egg toss competitions. Her generosity gave her great joy as she gave personalized gifts to family and friends and donated to various organizations. Marian loved the 4-H organization and everything educational.
