Margaret S. Hanson, age 96 of Peoria, Arizona and formerly of Hastings, Minnesota, died peacefully at home on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Margaret Shirley, the daughter of Milton and Margaret (Rappe) Wunderlich, was born on March 12, 1926, in St. Paul. She moved to Hastings in 1949 and enjoyed being active within the community. Marge and Martin were longtime members of Our Saviour's Lutheran and the former Hastings Country Club. She enjoyed playing bridge and never missed the opportunity for a round of golf too. Marge later moved to Phoenix in the Fall of 2017 where she continued to enjoy life to the fullest to her final days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin; and by her brother.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Maren Hanson; and by her brother, Richard Wunderlich.
Private family graveside services will be held at Roselawn Cemetery.
Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
