Lori A. Stifter (Gergen)

Lori A. Stifter (Gergen), age 46, of Eagan, passed away at home surround by her family on August 9, 2022. She was born in Seoul, Korea on December 10, 1975. Lori graduated from Hastings High School in 1994 and worked at Dakota County Abstract during her school years. Following High School, Lori attended Inver Hills Community College where she attained her Associates Degree. Lori was employed with the Dakota County Government Center for 7 years and later worked with the BCA (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) in St. Paul, where she worked for 14 years. While growing up in the Hastings area, Lori was involved in Skiing, 4H and piano. She married Josh Stifter and together they have 2 children and a step son. She is a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Eagan. Lori is survived by her husband, Josh; children, Ashlyn and Levi; step son, Brady; parents, Leon and Nancy Gergen; brother, Jason Gergen; and many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4030 Pilot Knob Rd, Eagan. A visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 AM at church prior to the funeral mass. A private Interment will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Trier, MN. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
