Lois J. Teuber

Lois J. Teuber, age 84, of Hastings, passed away on April 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 15, 1939, to Fred and Marjorie (Bohart) Partington in Northfield. Lois grew up in Hastings and had a love for dancing and enjoying life. In 1958, she married Lawrence Teuber after the two met at a dance hall, and they shared 66 beautiful years together.

Lois and Lawrence were blessed with 6 children: Eugene, Betty, Diane, Darold, Brenda, and Joanne. She worked at H.D. Hudson Manufacturing for 15 years and later became a nanny for several families, where she found great joy in taking care of others. Known as "the Boss," Lois had a dry sense of humor and quick wit that endeared her to many. She loved to sit down and drink a Tab or Fresca, shopping and spending a little money, talking on the phone, and traveling to Indiana and other destinations every summer. Her love for dogs was evident as she always had a little canine companion by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents; children, Eugene and Darold Teuber, and siblings, Ronald Partington, Janice Partington, and Mary Stam. Lois is survived by her beloved husband Lawrence; children, Betty Rutledge, Diane (Rick Stern) Williams, Brenda (Bob) Jones, and Joanne (Jason) Stengel; 13 grandchildren: Steve (Elizabeth), Jennifer, Scott (Sabine), Justin, Ian, Jessica (Mathias), Sara (Dave), Alex, Olivia, Josh, Nicole (Kenny), Brian (Christianne), and Mike (Stephanie); 17 great-grandchildren: Angel (Jonah), Hunter (Sally), Finley, Brooks, Elena, Ava, Mason, Deacon, Makenna, Korrin, Penelope, Summer, Lalayna, Lola, Hattie, Emmit, and Frank; great-great-grandchild Cecelia; siblings, Patricia (Mike Robertson) Partington, Coleen (Dave) Sodemann, Denise (Gordy) Linnell, Dennis Partington, Joyce Partington, Jim (Delores) Partington; and many other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, April 26, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8433 239th St E, New Trier, MN 55031, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The arrangements are being handled by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN 55033.
