Lisa A. Olson

Lisa A. Olson, aged 63, of Cottage Grove, MN, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2024, leaving an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family and friends.

Born on June 3, 1961, in Hastings, MN, to Henry "Clark" Robinson and Janet (Maher) Moulton, Lisa was baptized in the Catholic Faith in Cannon Falls. A Hastings High School graduate, Lisa was known for her incredible smile that could light any room.

After high school, Lisa journeyed to Utah, where she, alongside her then-husband Bob Olson, welcomed their cherished son, Eric, into the world. Lisa and Eric ultimately resettled in Cottage Grove, where Lisa dedicated many years of service as a Postal Clerk until her retirement. Known for her unassuming, private demeanor, Lisa was always ready to offer friendship and support to those around her. Her nonjudgmental acceptance and kindness earned her the love and respect of all who knew her.

Following retirement, Lisa's passion for the Minnesota Vikings football team blossomed, reflecting her lifelong love for enjoying the simple pleasures, like watching a game with those she cared for. Her love of travel never waned, nor did her enjoyment of concerts, weekend getaways with her son Eric, and spending precious moments with her family.

Lisa leaves behind her mother, Janet Moulton and stepfather, Dewey Moulton; her son, Eric Olson; her lifelong friend, Bob Olson; siblings Barb (Keith) Hankes, Jerome Robinson, Dave (Julie) Robinson, Linda (Randy) Sundblad, and Amy Moulton; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry "Clark" Robinson.

The family invites you to join them in a visitation to honor Lisa's life on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St., Hastings, MN 55033.
