Linda Marie Tietz

Linda Marie Tietz of Cottage Grove, MN passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the age of 75. She was born on August 3, 1947 in Red Wing, MN where she also grew up.

She worked as an Order Editor for Curtis 1000 for 20 years in addition to raising her two sons. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, and traveling with her husband Don.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Irene (Lohman) Odman and Joyce Lohman; sister, Sandy Roble; brother, Rodney Lohman.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Don; children, Gregory Tietz (Catherine Knutson) and Jeremy (Michelle) Tietz; grandchildren, MeShaun O’Malley-Tietz, Drew Grondahl, Shelby Tietz, and Austin Tietz; siblings, Mark Lohman, Jimmy (Kathy) Lohman, Susan (Gaylen) Langer, and Sharon (Jim) Krie; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family would like to thank St Croix Hospice and the staff at Inver Glen Senior Living Memory Care Unit in Inver Grove Heights, for the care and compassion they showed Linda in her final days.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 6 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings, MN. A private family internment will be scheduled for a later date at Fort Snelling in Minneapolis, MN.
