Linda Knoll

Linda Anne Knoll, age 76 of Hastings, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, June 21, 2024.

Linda was born on April 28, 1948 in St. Paul, the second of five children to Vernon and Wyone (Averill) Kirsch. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1966. Linda met Charles through a family friend and they were married in March of 1972 in St. Paul. Together, they had two sons, Mike and Mark. Linda enjoyed going on road trips with her boys, visiting places like Florida and Texas.

She was known for keeping an immaculate house and worked as a server at Perkins in Woodbury for many years, where she enjoyed meeting new people. In her free time, Linda loved “going for a ride” to the casino and was an avid reader.

Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charlie; sons, Mike (Brianna), Mark (Katie); grandchildren, Danielle, Ava, Connor, Morgan; siblings, Vernon Kirsch, David Kirsch, Mary (Mark) McKnight, Wyone Arndt; many nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as auntie; and by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Arndt.

In keeping with Linda’s loving and generous spirit, it was her wish to donate her whole body to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program for the purpose of supporting medical research and education for health professionals.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Interment at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Cemetery in Hastings.
