Lewis Love James Peterson

Age 8 of Burnsville, went to be with Jesus on January 28, 2024, at home with his family by his side. Survived by his parents, Anthony and Charlotte Peterson; siblings, Bridget Peterson and Baby Peterson; grandparents, Grammy LuEllen, Papa Jim and Grandmama Jill; aunts, uncles, many other family, and friends.

Lewis loved to talk using his communication device, body language, hand gestures and facial expressions. He was an exceptional listener. He loved building Lego Star Wars builds with dad and spending time with his friends. He was great at meeting new people and making others laugh. Despite a long list of medical difficulties and complexities, he had patience for his circumstances and was a great teacher. He was most proud of using his adaptive bike and being able to do rides at Disney World. He would want to be remembered for his grit, sense of adventure, companionship with his sister Bridget, love for his family and his Lord.

Funeral at 11 am on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Faith Covenant Church, 12921 Nicollet Avenue, Burnsville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Lebanon Cemetery.
