Kerry Belford Vogel

Kerry Belford Vogel, age 79, of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, with family by her side.

Kerry was born May 6, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York to J. Frank and Grace (Connolly) Belford. She was raised in Bay Shore, New York. Graduated Elizabeth Seaton College and Katherine Gibbs. Kerry lived in Bay Shore until moving to St. Paul, Minnesota after her marriage to Harvey Charles (Chuck) Vogel Jr. in 1967. Kerry and Chuck adopted and raised their daughter, Kimberly Anne on Mount Curve in St. Paul. Kerry enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, landscaping, her neighborhood social club, and was the first single female member of the Town and Country Club. She later moved to Pine City to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. With failing health Kerry moved to Prescott, WI with her daughter and son-in-law.

Her giving heart will be greatly missed as she was the type of person who truly wouldn’t harm another soul, will be remembered for her stories, laugh and ability to and make a lasting impression on all of those who met her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jeff Belford and nephew Jeffrey Belford.

Kerry is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Brian) Vogel Benedict; grandchildren, Symantha Byrd and Connor Byrd; brother, Kevin (Jane) Belford of Washington D.C.; and sister-in-law, Susan Belford of Bay Shore NY.
