Kenneth B. Comeaux

Kenneth B Comeaux,

Age 77 of Apple Valley, born New Years Eve, 1945 in Crockett, TX to Alphonse & Dorothy Comeaux, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, October 7, 2023.

Kenny grew up in Texas but in his late 20’s did a lot of hitchhiking with his brothers and ended up in Minnesota which is where he met his wife and spent the rest of his life. He served a short time in the Army when he was 18 years old. Ken had many careers in his life such as a cook, butcher, and a computer parts assembler at Seagate for 31 years. He loved to cook, mostly southern comfort foods. His favorite was gumbo which he would cook for special occasions, he passed on this tradition to his grandsons.

Kenny was a strong Christian and would bring his children to nursing homes to read Bible scriptures to the residents. His favorite pastime was watching scary movies but most recently he loved cartoons and had them on round the clock.

What he loved most in life, beyond anything else, were his children and grandchildren.

Ken is preceded in death by his brothers, Tim and Bruce Comeaux.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Melissa; children: Cyndi Comeaux, Bryant Comeaux, Summer (Gerry) Velo, and Lindsey (Tim) Wise; grandchildren: Kim, Kelli, Blake, Cierra, Drew, Braden, Boston, Ryder and Landon; sister, Annie Laurie Hill and many other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, October 13, 2023 with a visitation one hour before at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave. in Apple Valley.
