Kelsey Rose Martin

Kelsey Rose Martin, 23, of Little Canada, formerly of Hastings, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2023 at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.

Kelsey was born on September 6, 2000 in Hastings, Minnesota to Kevin and Ann Martin. The 2005 poster child for Gillette Children's Hospital, she was best known for her brown ringlets, beautiful outfits, and for exuding joy and love to all she met. She attended Hastings High School , the class of 2019. Kelsey particularly enjoyed live music, especially at church, horseback riding, shopping, and spending time with her beloved brothers. She was welcomed with open arms in Heaven, but will be missed by all who knew her here on earth.

Kelsey was preceded in death by her grandparents John and June Martin, Aaron and Carla Reichenberg.

She is survived by her parents Kevin and Ann Martin; brothers Aaron Ruikka, Adam (Hannah) Ruikka, Zachary Martin; niece Sophie Ruikka; loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She will forever live on in the hearts of her special helpers and friends.

A memorial service for Kelsey will be held at 2 p.m. on December 23, 2023 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings, MN, with a visitation one hour prior. You are welcome to stay following the service for a time of reception and sharing of memories.
