Katie Lynn (Wagner) Kulla

Katie Lynn (Wagner) Kulla, age 47, of Hastings passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024.

Katie had a passion for the simple pleasures in life, such as camping, coloring, and trying her luck with scratch-off tickets. She was known for her culinary skills and was an amazing cook, delighting her loved ones with delicious meals. Her love for animals was evident in her cherished pets: dogs Bowzer, Mac, and Oli; cat Moomoo; rabbit Scruff; and turtles Frick and Frack.

One of her greatest joys was traveling to South Padre Island, where she found peace and relaxation by the sea. For 30 years, she worked alongside her best friend Jen, cleaning homes and creating a bond that was unbreakable.

Katie found solace in watching her soap opera shows and spending quality time with her family and friends. She had a fondness for candles and took pride in being a loyal member of Amazon Prime.

Katie is survived by her mother, Karen Wagner; step-father, Tom Whipple; son, Quentin Lau (Kalley Huebsch); daughter, Kayli (Colten Rogers); step-daughter, Jenna (Joseph) Schloesser; boyfriend and father of her children, Robert Lau; grandson, Markam Rogers; uncles, Neal Carson, Dean Carson and Gary (Mary) Carson; and by her lifelong best friend, Jen Odman.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clayton and Lois Carson.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
