Judy A. Kimmes

Judy A. "Bomma" Kimmes, 74, of Hastings MN, passed away on August 15th, 2024 at home.

Judy was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on November 24th, 1949. She held a love of playing games, doing puzzles, and winning at the local meat raffles. She was an accomplished baker, a creative crocheter, and a master of the kitchen who shared the results of her hobbies with so many. She will be remembered as an inspired wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and a comforting presence to all those that held her heart.

Judy was preceded in death by her father in law, Art Kimmes; mother in law, Dolores Kimmes; sister in law, Judy Kimmes; brother in law, Ronnie Frandrup, her parents, nephew and a brother in law.

Judy is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Ken Kimmes; her sons, Ken (Mike Conn) Kimmes, Kevin (Kathleen) Kimmes; her grandchildren, Jarod (Kayla) Kimmes, and Kaitlyn (Andrew) Harter; brother-in-law, Gene Kimmes; sister-in-law, Donna Frandrup; 2 sisters, and her nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 9am-11am at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings, Minnesota, with a funeral service to follow at 11am.

Interment will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Trier, Minnesota.
