Jonathan William Hanson

We are deeply saddened to share news that Jonathan died at the age of 25.

Jon never met a stranger and would help absolutely anyone. Family was everything for him. He enjoyed helping on the family horse farm, doing anything and everything with his Grandpa as well as hunting, fishing and hanging out with friends.

Jon leaves behind countless friends and family including parents Jason and Jessica Urbach, siblings Jacob, Jenavieve and Juliana Urbach, Grandpa Bruce Hanson, Grandma Robin Hanson, Grandma Cathy Urbach, Uncle Mark Urbach, Aunt Amber Hanson, Uncle Si Hanson II, cousins Si Hanson III, Maverick Mildon, Carmody Mildon and Mylah Hanson.

He is preceded in death by his beloved dog Gunny, Grandpa Ron Urbach, Great Grandparents Si & Jackie Hanson, Vi Hanson, Helen & William Luedke, William Raboin, Herb & Clarice Mairs, and Ted & Shirley Urbach.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Studio Downtown, 205 2nd St E, Hastings on Wednesday, November 15th. Please join us anytime from 4-6pm to share and remember Jon followed by a memorial service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. In talking about and sharing memories of Jon, please be a supporter of easy access to mental health services. It’s okay to NOT be okay.
