John W. "Wes" Paradis

John "Wes" W. Paradis, age 72 of Cannon Falls, Minnesota passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 16, 2023, surrounded by his family.

John Wesley was born on November 15, 1951 to Ronald Albert Paradis and Edith Mabel (Giddings) Paradis in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. They later moved to Florida where he graduated high school in Hialeah in the year 1969. He went on to attend technical college for telephone and electronics repair. Following, he worked for North Miami Hospital, and went on to do additional schooling in ground to air communications (avionics technician). During such time, he worked for Eastern Airlines. He and his family moved to Minnesota, where he enjoyed working at Northwest Airlines for over 15 years. He moved onto Minnesota Department of Transportation where he was a radio communications technician until his retirement in 2018. Wes and Anne moved to Arizona in retirement, but then eventually moved back to Minnesota in July of 2023.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Linda; parents; his sister Mary Paradis; and brother Richard Paradis. He is survived by his wife Anne; children Kevin (Jackie) Paradis, Bryan, Jimmy, Jonathan, and Makayla; brother Bill; and 4 beautiful grandkids Ethan, Isabella, Peyton, Isaac.

Traditional Latin Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Miesville. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation one hour prior, and to a light reception immediately following the graveside service, all at church on Saturday.
