Jeffrey E. Cardin

Jeffrey E. Cardin, age 58, of Hastings, passed away October 15, 2022, surrounded by family.

He was born in South St. Paul on November 23, 1963, to Roger and Patricia (Schroeder) Cardin.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman with a love of animals, especially dogs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outside. He loved restoring vintage cars and was able to build and remodel anything and everything.

Most of all, Jeff was a man of strength and courage and had a positive outlook on every situation. He was an extremely hard worker and was loyal to the core. Jeff loved his family and liked nothing better than spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He will be loved, missed, and always remembered.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Patricia Cardin, and grandparents, Eldon and Erna Schroeder and Gene and Leona Cardin.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie; children, Casey (Ben), Nick (Alix) and Nick (Kelly); grandchildren, Marshall, Miles, Logan, and Abby; siblings, Scott (Diane), Kelly, Tracy (Tom), Roger (Caryn); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his loyal dog, Ethel.

There will be a Celebration of his Life on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings.
