Jeanne C. Erickson

Jeanne C. Erickson, age 77 of Hastings, died peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Jeanne Carol, daughter of Louis and Evelyn (Warwas) Janesich, was born on November 17, 1945 in Chisholm, MN. On August 14, 1965 she was united in marriage to Wayne Erickson at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Hampton, MN and was blessed with three children. Jeanne cherished the time spent with family, especially watching her sons and grandchildren's sporting events. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and playing cards with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Steve in 2011, husband, Wayne in 2022, and her sister-in-law, Sharon Mathews.

Jeanne is survived by her sons, Mike (Ann) Erickson, Troy (Beth) Erickson, and daughter, Taina (Harri) Kangastupa; grandchildren, Amy, Logan, and Luke; sibling, Kenneth (Ann) Janesich; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers Jeanne's family requests memorials to the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation.

Arrangements are being completed with Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, MN.

A prayer service will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel on Saturday, September 23, 2023 with a visitation starting one hour prior at 10:00 A.M. and burial following right after the service.
