Irma "Casey" Greene

Irma M. "Casey" Greene, 80, of New Trier passed away with family by her side on July 12, 2022 at The Estates at Roseville in Roseville, Minnesota. She was born on October 10, 1941 to Henry and Margaret (Wollmering) Peine and eventually graduated from Hastings High School in 1959. On October 27, 1962, Irma married Ronald Greene, and together raised 5 children. Irma worked briefly at Regina in Hastings and spent 40 over years cleaning homes and businesses in the area. Family was everything to Irma, she rarely went a day without a loved one or friend around. She loved baking her banana bread, pies, amazing potato salad and soups. She also liked to play black jack at Treasure Island with friends and truly will be missed by many. She is survived by her husband Ron of 59 years; children, Melissa Greene (Johnny Roc), Pamela Greene, Bradley (Jeanie) Greene, Jeffrey Greene; 6 grandchildren; siblings, John (Helen) Peine, Lloyd (Lenore) Peine; best friend Theresa Kossan and many other special friends and relatives. Irma was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Henry Peine, Mary Rose Feidt, Lawrence Peine, Ervin Peine, Marjorie Beissel, Kenneth "Butch" Peine and Vi Weber. Visitation will be 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday, July 18 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 19 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Trier, with visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Trier. Arrangements are being handled by the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel.
