Glen Paul Howard, age 71, of Hastings, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Regina Benedictine Senior Living in Hastings on April 2, 2023, after a long, hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia.
Glen was born to Everett and Lucille Howard on June 5, 1951, at Mounds Hospital in St. Paul, MN and grew up on the family farm near Old Cottage Grove. He was a 1970 graduate of Park High School. Glen had a career in Carpentry for 30 years retiring in 2007.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and mostly spending time with his family and friends. Glen married the love of his life, Linda Fuchs in 1971. They were blessed with three beautiful daughters, Shelly, Melissa, and Molly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Lucille Howard; and brother, Donald Howard.
Glen is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda; daughters, Shelly Bowman, Melissa (John) Morris, and Molly (Rick) Mach; 4 loving grandchildren, Faith Bowman, Bennett and Lilianna Morris, and Jackson Mach; siblings, Robert (Susan) Howard, Lauren (Marianne) Howard Harold (Kathy) Howard; sister in law, Rita Howard; sister and brother in laws, Donna (Al) Teuber, Gloria (Ken) Murphy, Cheryl Stevenson, Scott (Kathy) Fuchs, Terry (Dana) Fuchs; many loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family and Friends are cordially invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street in Hastings. A visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home on Saturday. Private Interment, Old Cottage Grove Cemetery in Cottage Grove.
