Glen C. Pressnall

Glen C. Pressnall, age 76, of Hastings passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024.

Glen was born on August 31, 1948, in Warren, Minnesota to Lawrence and Jeanette (Olson) Pressnall. He graduated from Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights in 1966 and went on to graduate from Inver Hills Community College where he studied Business and Public Safety. After graduating, Glen was proud to serve his country as a signalman in the United States Navy, at one point serving alongside his brother Larry. Glen went on to become a deputy for the Dakota County Sherriff’s Office where he served for 30 years.

Glen was an avid hunter and fisherman and RC plane pilot. He enjoyed camping and outdoor activities with his daughters. A devout Christian, Glen found comfort and strength in his spirituality throughout his life, always seeking to share his faith with others.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Jeanette Pressnall; brother-in-law, Lee (Katy) Ditmarsen; and sister-in-law, Diane Pressnall.

Glen is survived by the mother of his children, Cassie Wegner; daughters, Wendy Pressnall (Nels Geary), Debby (Michael) Clark; grandchildren, Evelyn and William Clark; brother, Larry Pressnall; brother-in-law, Scott (Julie) Ditmarsen; and by other relatives and friends.

Glen will be laid to rest during a private family service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

A celebration of Glen’s life will be held at a later date.
