Floyd C. Ott, age 85 of Washington County, passed away suddenly on Friday morning, December 9, 2022.
Floyd Clem, was born on November, 24, 1937, in St. Lucas, IA to John and Margaret Ott. Floyd was as an Air Traffic Controller in the US Navy before settling down in the Twin Cities where he met Laurie while working for Braniff International and they were later married in 1964. Floyd and Laurie entered the real estate world in 1973 and set many sales records and was able to work along side his wife and kids for over 35 years. Floyd had a zest for life and strived to put smiles on other’s faces. He had a lasting impact on countless lives and will be missed immensely by many people.
He is survived by wife, Laurie Ott, and children Tom (Pam) Ott, Pam (Steve) Ott-Morse, Sandy (Jeff) Ott-Norblom, Rhonda (Al) Swenson, and Tina (Wesley) Ott and ten grandchildren. He was a very involved husband, father, and grandfather.
A private graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, with a Celebration of His Life held next summer. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to www.omf.ngo/ways-to-donate/?form=donatenow
