Evelyn V. Fox (Gaddis)

Evelyn V. Fox (Gaddis) age 82 of Hastings/Northfield passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Gracewood Assisted Living, St. Paul, MN.

Evelyn was born in Mountain Grove, Missouri where she grew up on a 5-generation Farm. The Gaddis Missouri Century Farm was established in 1849 and this is where she worked as a farmhand until she graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1958. After high school, Evelyn moved to Kansas City where she met the love of her life, Robert Fox, and was married on January 24, 1961. Later, Evelyn moved to Minnesota where she spent much of her life in Northfield. She had a love for gaming machines. Evelyn also enjoyed going for rides to see the countryside while listening to country music, gospel music, and her favorite, George Jones. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Preceded in death by (husband) Robert Fox; parents, Cecil & Pearl Gaddis; siblings, Jim Gaddis, Kenneth Gaddis, Carl Gaddis, Jack Gaddis, Gladys Crisp, and Ruth Williams.

Survived by her loving sons, Mark Fox and Jerry Fox; daughter-in-law Patty Fox; grandchildren, Andrea (Josue Trego) Fox, Nicole (Kyle) Wyatt and Christina Edwards; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Lily and Keshawn; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Evelyn will be held Friday, March 10 at 11:00 AM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, Hastings, MN with a visitation one hour prior. Lunch in her honor after services followed by Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
