Barber, Evelyn E.

Age 89 of Shorewood, passed away on Sept. 30, 2024. Evelyn worked as a secretary for Barber Construction Co. for many years. She enjoyed winters in FL and was an avid shuffleboard player. Evelyn was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Jeff; daughter, Jane; parents; 4 siblings; and son-in-law, Dave Swing. Survived by her children, Jackie (Larry) Cramb, Jerry (Barb), and Jill Swing; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sharon Cameron; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral at 11am on Mon., Oct. 14, 2024, at Mount Olivet West Campus, 7150 Rolling Acres Rd., Victoria, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Crystal Lake Cemetery. Memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
