Elsie Anne Thomas

Elsie Anne Thomas, 89, passed peacefully on November 14, 2022 at home in Inver Grove Heights.

Elsie Anne was born in Sioux City, Iowa to John and Katherine (Schmidt) Schroeder on February 14, 1933.

She attended school and graduated high school from East Grand Forks, Minnesota.

Elsie moved to the West Coast early in life and on February 16, 1962 she married Robert Lee Thomas of San Diego and together raised two children. In the early 1970's the family moved back to Minnesota.

Elsie and Bob were active members of Woodbury Lutheran Church for over 40 years, and cherished their many years there. She and Bob enjoyed sitting around a table with family and friends, enjoying good food and drinks, sharing stories and telling jokes. Elsie's intuitive conversations and shared wisdom with family will be greatly missed. She joins Robert and family in her heavenly home.

She is survived by her son Mark (Lisa) Thomas and daughter Lori Thomas; grandchildren, Lauren Thomas, Jake Thomas and Ana Larson; brother, Jack Schroeder and other relatives and friends.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert and siblings, Mark Schroeder, Lorrayne Busch, and James Schroeder.
