Edna S. Mukai

Age 89 of Rosemount, born August 3, 1934 in Honolulu, HI to Hajime & Hatsuno Omiya, passed away peacefully January 18, 2024.

In her professional life, Edna was a nurse at the University of Minnesota and VA and later a local elementary school. She loved to sew, cook, read, work puzzles, listen to music, walk, golf and spend time with her family and friends. Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Frank.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Diane (Mike) Vipond; son, Gary (Pam) Mukai; grandchildren, Mara Mukai (fiancé, Isaac Lindberg) and Nathan (Alexa) Mukai; great granddaughter. Amelia; siblings: Jean Nohara, Naomi Venables and Charlie Omiya.

Memorial service, 11:00 AM, Friday, March 22, 2024 with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley.  Edna will be laid to rest with her husband, Frank at Ft. Snelling.
