Dwight Ronald Anton,

Age 79 of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully on May 22 2024. He was born on November 27 1944 to Nis and Irene (Fuller) Anton in Thief River Falls, MN.  Dwight was the youngest of 10. He married his wife, Genelle on August 10 1974. They raised their 2 children in Apple Valley. Dwight worked in maintenance for the Bloomington public schools for 34 years, and 15 years for Belzers Chevrolet.

Dwight loved to go on family camping/fishing trips and hunting with his son. He was an avid Minnesota sports fan.  Dwight cherished his family time and loved being a Grandpa. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Genelle; children: Dawn (Barry) Bolin,  Ryan (Sandy) and Staci Weller; grandchildren, Blake & Olivia Weller; brothers, Nis (Linda) and David (Alice); and sisters, Marjorie Hruby & Patricia Ose.  Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Robert, Calvin, Laurel, and Douglas; and sister Audrey.

Services to celebrate Dwight’s life will be held on  June 22, 2024, with visitation at 10am, followed by a service at 11am, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley. Lunch will be hosted at our friends home in Burnsville following the service, details will be provided at the service.
