Donald L. Kuhl
Age 81 of Rosemount, born May 17, 1943 in Minneapolis to Lawrence and Ruth Kuhl, passed away peacefully with his family at his side July 30 2024.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Michelle; sisters, Mary (Bill) Tantzen and Barbara Thoraldson and niece, Jeanne de los Reyes.
Don will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 54 ½ years, Judy; daughter, Cheryl (Doug) Anderson; son, Tom Kuhl; granddaughter, Lilly Anderson; brother-in-law, Jack Thoraldson and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Don was a class of 1961 Benilde High School graduate. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Lake Chaplain, US Postal Carrier for 37 years, was a bus driver for Marshall Lines and District 196 for several years. Don loved being outside in his yard and taking care of the house, taking the dog for a walk, watching or going to football games and most importantly, spending quality time with his wife, children, granddaughter, and many family and friends.
Visitation, 6-8 PM, Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave. in Apple Valley and also one hour before the service at Church.
Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM, Friday, August 2, with a visitation one hour before at the Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 E Co Rd 42 in Burnsville.
Don will be laid to rest with his daughter Michelle at Ft. Snelling National cemetery.
