Delores L. Shea

Delores L. Shea, 84, of Hastings, Minnesota passed away peacefully on July 29, 2022. She was born in Mazeppa on November 18, 1937 to Henry and Matilda (Betcher) Sommerfield. She married Charles Shea on Feb. 18, 1960 in Wabasha County. They later moved to Hastings and lived there for the remainder of their lives. She retired from Gemini and SuperAmerica. She was a talented seamstress. She also enjoyed Bargo on Friday nights and cooking for family and exploring new recipes. She is survived by children, Roger (Janice) Sommerfield, Katherine Glasby, Kathleen (Rich) Wertish, Gene (Jackie) Shea, Dale (Mary) Shea and Ronald Shea; sister, Karen (Al) Long; brother, Elmer (Trisha) Sommerfield; sister-in-law, DeeAnn Sommerfield, Diane Sommerfield, and Bette Shea, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by husband Charles Shea; parents, Henry and Matilda Sommerfield; brothers, Kenneth and Wilmar Sommerfield, brother-in-law, Eugene Shea, and son-in-law, Roy Glasby. Celebration of Life will be held on August 26, 2022 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Spring Lake Park Reserve - East Shelter, 8395 127th St. E. Hastings, MN 55033. Interment will be on August 27, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, 30932 MN 60, Millville, MN 55957.
