Darrell C. Abrahams

Darrell Carl Abrahams, 68 of Claremont, joined the Lord on June 21st 2024.

Darrell was born March 13th, 1956, to Carl and Dorene (Behne) Abrahams in Adams, MN. He graduated from OHS in 1974. He held various jobs over the years, but his favorite was helping his friend Doug out on the farm. Darrell enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards, BUMP, pull-tabs and BINGO. Friday nights consisted of sitting around the table with June, Don and Roger conversing and playing games. He enjoyed conversations with anyone and had a zest for laughter. His laugh was boisterous and contagious. He loved working on the farm and driving tractor, spending time with his brother and BINGO partner, Dale and spoiling his grandchildren. He gave the best hugs.

Darrell was a deeply loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be profoundly missed by many.

He is survived by his sons Andrew Roseland of Owatonna, Kyle Abrahams of Woodbury, MN; grandchildren Logan, Haylee, Rylee and Lylah Roseland; sisters Diane Harrison of Clear Lake, IA; Cindy Bruce Abrahams of Casa Grande, AZ; brothers Dale (Mary) Abrahams of Owatonna; Dennis (Dianne) Abrahams of Spring, TX; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dorene Abrahams, sister, Carol Hallanger, brother-in-law, Stanley Harrison and infant brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00-3:00 on Monday July 15th at Clinton Falls Township Hall with burial at 2:30 at Owatonna Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A light lunch will be served.

Memorials are preferred to the family or donor’s choice. We encourage you to get your favorite people together and go play BINGO in his honor.
