Daniel W. Stewart

Daniel W. Stewart, age 56, of Hastings passed away unexpectedly at home June 8, 2023.

Dan was a loving father, grandfather, and son. He wrestled in high school and was an avid Wrestle Mania Fan. Dan enjoyed watching The Minnesota Vikings play. Dan was passionate about cooking and was always excited to share his recipes with his Mother and Grandmother. He loved fishing and when he no longer could, he would watch fishing shows on TV.

Preceded in death by grandfather, Ronald A. George; step-father, John J. Makarenko.

He is survived by his loving children, Brittany A. Stewart, Jacob T. (Alexis) Stewart, Alysha K. Stewart; grandchildren, Leighton & Shiloh Stewart; mother, Katherine A. (Stephen "Manny") Crapps; father, James J. Stewart; grandmother, Donna M. George; other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Dan's life will be held Monday, June 26th at 12:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration chapel with a visitation from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM reception to follow. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings, MN following the reception.
